About Me

Just now getting into the habit of reading again. My rating system is based upon how much the book affected me and how good I think it is; strictly subjective standards drive the opinions I have and the feelings that I have about any given piece of art, including but not limited to books. Not to say that technique, history, etc. don't play a part in how I feel about the novel, but my cataloging and rating habits act as a way for me to keep together how I feel about every book I read, not as some adherence to a standard or expression of what is objectively good or objectively bad.
