I have to keep weeding the books out because I have no space. I have plays from when I was taking a director's course, lots of travel guides, memoirs and since I belong to a book club, several of the popular books from the last 5 years.

I am the author of a book called "Crafting the Travel Guidebook". I also write travel articles for my local newspaper and have had some humorous articles in national magazines. I was a reference librarian in my past life (that is, my pre-writing life)and like reading all sorts of books. Well, not all sorts--sci-fi and mysteries are not my meat although I'll watch the movie made from the book. Travel, memoirs, novels, biographies (right now I'm reading The River of Doubt about Teddy Roosevelt's journey up the Amazon)are my mainstay right now.
