About Me: Jade King is an author and women's advocate from Northern, Louisiana.
Jade is self-published and is looking into starting her own company in the near future where she can help others fulfill their dreams, goals and aspirations.

At an early age, Jade fell in love with books and writing. At age seven Jade won a young author's contest at her elementary school, and this fueled her passion for writing even more. As a teenager, Jade found solace in her writing when she was sent to an alternative school in the middle of Bossier, LA. Jade's teachers would often ask her for stories and were amazed at the young Ms. King's talent.

At the age of 22 Jade was published in an Anthology by Best Selling Author, Shannon Holmes, Titled "Hood 2 Hood. (See Rhonica Wesley). Jade's career slowed down until 2014 she rekindled her lengthy love affair with writing, for good.

In upcoming months of 2016, Jade is incorporating her company Advocates for Women and her writing career to reach the masses. Advocates for women caters to women who have been abused, battered, have a substance abuse problem, or mental illness.

Jade is looking into public speaking, as well as charity events to help bring awareness to domestic violence, chemical dependency, and mental illness
