History, Biography, and Literature are the main sections. The Christian books are my wife's now. I also shy away from modern fiction.
About Me
Away from home 9 months. Now looking for another residence, so my present collection has to be boxed again. Poor books! Words, different languages, cultures, and political upheavals were my molds. Reading is my salve.
I prefer books that have lived long. Like a time capsule, some of them contain penciled marginalia, a memento, and offer me a tenuous link to yesterday. Some of the books are in Czech, as I am bilingual. Most of those are from my parents' collection.
