servants (1), doctor (1), Cassiopeia (1), In The Astonishing .Life of Octavian Nothing {Traitor to the Nation} which was (1), written by M.T Anderson entails a story that was amazingly heartfelt. The main character-Octavian was born to his mother (1), when she was just thirteen. She was forced out of marriage in Africa and was kidnapped (1), then brought to America. Upon arrival she meets Mr. Gitney who offers her a place in his home; where most of the story takes place. She lives there on the circumstances that her son was raised under Mr. Gitneys’ philosophy teachings. Everyone in Mr. Git (1), etc are referred to by numbers. Mr. Gitney—Mr.03-01 (1), has chamber rooms for experiments (1), one of the chamber room was restricted for Octavian to ever enter. His curious mind of the world around him makes eventually enter the room; he is caught but not severely punished. His mother was always fond of by the men in the house (1), she was drawn by them and extensively admired (1), and she never feed into their game she just only smiled. When Octavian came of age he realized (1), Mr.03-01s experiments were more than just on animals and insects. He was also an experiment; when he reached age sixteen or so a man came to visit Mr.03-01 and took over his experiments with Octavian because they were supposedly “done all wrong.” When (1), he ran away. Now considered a fugitive slave because he was African American during a hateful era (1), what is he to do? To find out his magnificent virtue for freedom (1), I encourage you to read the book. I would not recommend the book unless you are a history fanatic. One who loves to read historical fiction with the most vivid details of his life. I would not at all recommend this book to someone who loves romance or fic (1)
