- About Me
Hi! My name is Jess Geilfuss. I am an adjunct professor in the Early Childhood Education Department at Fisher College in Boston. In 2015, I graduated from Wheelock College with my Masters in Educational Studies with a concentration in Early Childhood Education and Policy. I've been in Early Education for just over 14 years and have held almost every position from assistant teacher to assistant director! In April 2021 I finished my 200 hour yoga teacher training and became a registered yoga teacher.
When I am not teaching amazing early educators, I can be found adventuring with my wife. We love to explore local places as well as traveling outside Massachusetts (when it's safe of course! Silly, Covid!). A few years ago we went on a trip to India! I think every day about how I want to go back! A few of my other favorite places we've traveled: Greece, Paris, and Toronto.
I'm a big fan of Disney, Harry Potter, women's soccer, and women's basketball! Some of my 2022 goals are to read 25 books (not early ed related), work on my doula training, and see Sue Bird in her final season with the WNBA!
