- I'll try anything once. My love is Southern literature that defies stereotypes and does not focus on romance. I like to read Southern fiction about people who could be real. I also want to take more time to read some of the classics, and I'm starting with Jane Austen. It's been a few years since I read Persuasion!

- I teach English at a rural high school in South Georgia. I just graduated from Georgia Southern University with an Ed.D. in Curriculum Studies, emphasis in literacy. Now what? I want to read something I enjoy, that's what! Something that does not have to be for a class or for a paper or for my major professor.
