I'm just getting started entering titles in LibraryThing. We have everything from pictures books to engineering and management textbooks (mine & my husband's.) I'm occasionally guilty of purchasing duplicates, so I'm really excited about having a comprehensive catalog of our collection. Some of our library's quirkier features include multiple books on aikido (my husband's a black belt), an *almost* complete set of Newbery medal winners from 1922 through the present(still searching for clean copies of a few OOP titles), and dozens of books on breastfeeding (I'm a former LaLeche League leader.)

A former mechanical engineer, I'm married to a quality assurance engineer. Mother to home-schooled daughter and public-schooled son. My son has Asperger's syndrome, a form of autism --- thus the books on autism. I bought my home strictly because it had built-in bookscases (lol!), but we're fast outstripping our shelf space. Avid reader and book group member, though I get most of my popular fiction from the public library (to save $.)
