With digital reading options so abundant, I now only add a few books a year to my library, carefully chosen, and usually art, design, or other highly-formatted inspirational artifacts with no online equivalent parity for experience. My goal is to reduce my library to about a fifth of its original size, mainly to accommodate future moves. So far, I'm at about 75%.
