- I used to read mostly high fantasty with some sci/fi. Now I read a LOT more non-fiction. Sometimes I go directly from the Globe book review to McNally Robinson. My favourite book is the Odyssey and has been for fourteen years; I love the T.E. Lawrence translation. That alone probably tells you all you need to know. Other favourites are Robertson Davies, Terry Pratchett, and H.P. Lovecraft. I guess I cover a lot of ground.
