About My Library
My library is a combination of my husband and I's school reference library (mine: art history/museum studies, him: political science). Our references for our medieval activities (mine: Illumination, calligraphy, clothing, him: metalwork, knives, blacksmithing). And our fiction collection (mostly sci-fi, fantasy, and historical ficiton).
About Me
I'm an art historian with a medieval focus. I belong to a medieval re-creation group called the Society of Creative Anachronism, which is an international educational organization dedicated to researching and re-creating the medieval period (roughly 6th C-16th C). I'm also an artist with extensive work in modern illuminated manuscripts, Venetian Carnivale masks, and book binding.
