I'm a former journalist, turned PR flack. I love writers who pay attention to the words they use, rather than just the thoughts they convey. I rarely read books written in the first person. When I can't find anything to read, Jane Austen and Vikram Seth are my fall-backs; I fall in love with their books a little bit more every time.
