- I grew up in Iowa where I was Miss Washington County in the 60's and attended the University of Northern Iowa. I spent many years as an award-winning Sales Manager of a Century 21 firm. After becoming disabled after a car accident in 1978, I switched to commercial credit and ended my career after 24 years as the National Account Manager for the National Association of Credit Management's Minnesota office known as Forius Inc. I have won the National DAR Conservation Award for my efforts in water conservation and have written two books: The Art of Business Credit Investigation and Elle Burton and the Reflective Portals. I have a chapter in Joel Comm's "So What Do You Do? The Genius Next Door" to be released in October and am working on the 2nd book in the Elle series and another book at the moment.
