About meI have a liberal arts degree, and work at a community college. I'm the human for a cat named Tiger Lilly, who is doing an expert job of behavior modification on me.

Since November of 2009, I've been re-reading books I haven't read in forever, to see whether I want to keep them, or pass them along. Consequently, it's been over a year since I've watched television. I haven't missed it. However, in 2011 I started watching PBS again, on Saturday evenings.

About my libraryI've added titles from an old (partial) listing of my books, so the dates shown are not accurate. I'll go back and correct that part once I get them all input. That will give me something to do when I retire. If that ever happens.

I'm also adding any new books I purchase, and old ones I re-read, that are not already listed.

No matter what happens, my books will always reside with me. I know that sounds funny, but people keep trying to get me to get rid of books, to "lighten my load." They don't seem to understand that I've always been able to rely on my books, even when humans have let me down.
