- I am an Associate Professor of History at William Carey University, located in Hattiesburg, MS. I received my Ph.D. at Saint Louis University, with a specialty in Medieval History. My research and teaching specialties are in the Crusades, the Medieval Mediterranean, and the Byzantine Empire.
