By day, I am widely recognised as a leader in my professional field of Credit Risk, and have published 4 authoritative textbooks on Credit Risk and Credit Scoring. I also edited a magazine for a year. But in my spare time, I have also written several crime thriller novels, of which the first to be published is "I Dare You".

He has been writing as a hobby for more than 10 years, and believes there is quite a large overlap between credit risk and crime writing – not least, the amount of problem solving and analysis that each requires.

The second novel "Map of the Dead" will be published in November 2016.

Born in Manchester, England, I now live on the South Coast of England with my wife and family.
