- I read a lot and purchase books compulsively, even though I work in a public library. Favorite genres include historical fiction, romance (particularly historical/paranormal, I rarely read contemporary romance), urban fantasy, and the ever-nebulous "literary fiction." I also own a number of classics of the Western canon due to my undergrad and almost-grad degrees in English Lit.
