I enjoy reading a variety of books but once an author or series has let me down I am slow to return. My favorite categories of books are mystery/thriller, historic fiction, chick lit, nonfiction history/biography, and some contemporary fiction. There are many authors I read consistently but many gems have been found by writers with few books in print.
