My library comes from my years of teaching as well as reading. It contains a number of favorite authors, Ivan Doig, John Steinbeck, John Irving, Jon Hassler, Anne Tyler and others. It contains many of my favorite works that I taught, "The Great Gatsby," "The Old Man and the Sea," "Tale of Two Cities," "Cry the Beloved Country." It also contains most of the books from a bookclub that I have belonged to since retirement which links me back to my teaching friends.

Most importantly, I have just finished a novel, "Boomer," which I have self-published and will have out in early November '07. I will add it to my library as soon as it is available.
I lives in Eden Prairie with my wife of 41 years, Judy. After teaching English and drama for 30 years in the Osseo Minnesota school district, I retired in 2000. Teaching was a wonderful profession, which gave me a lifetime of memories, adventures and accomplishments. In retirement I am on my second lifetime, equally interesting and filled with adventure. We now have two grandchildren, Carter and Kennedy, whom we loves to Grandparent.
