Welcome to my library!
I like books that encourage me to think about the ways in which the world works and what role I play in it. Most abundantly, historical and political texts. My focus tends to be on the 20th century with a narrower focus on socialism and on Korea, Russia, West Asia and Latin America. I don't tend to tread far from this historical niche. Nonetheless, I enjoy reading about other things as well: biology, the human condition, and perfumery.

5 stars: Exceptional. Wonderfully developed ideas and compelling execution.
