2023 goal was to read 16 books. I read 19.
2024 goal was 20. I passed that easily. Revised goal was 50. I accomplished that on Dec 03.
2025 goal for completing specific books completed by Sept. Secondary goals were partially completed.2026 goals:
Finish Robert Howard Conan stories - complete
Finish the Black Company books I own (Books of the South and return of the Black Company)
Finish the Killing Slimes for 300 Years books I have (2-13) - complete
Lord of the Rings - complete2025 book of the year: Winnie the Pooh by A.A. Milne. It's good. It's wholesome.
2025 book of the year runner up: Animal Farm. The story itself is good. It overcomes the really heavy handed allegory and Orwell's "real socialism has never been tried."
2025 honorable mention: New Spring. It's been so long since I read a new-to-me Wheel of Time book by Robert Jordan. The fact that is was self contained really helped. Feels good man.- Currently Reading
