Member ossified

It's basically a collection of books on music, subcultures, myths, and memoirs, that is peppered with the bizarro genre and random crap that I want or have yet to read...for the most part it is made up of things that have deeply affected me or are somehow personally relevant, but it varies and is pretty capricious.

I'm a composer who loves to read, so between working on scores, burying myself in books, and tracking down quirky recordings, there's not really much time to interact with the world, though I think I prefer it that way. I do write, mostly poems that get used for lyrics or ramblings that get stuck in a zine that I put together sometimes, but I've been known to spin out a story or two on occasion and people tell me they're not half bad. Who knows. I do have several ideas for books I want to write, someday. We'll just have to see if I can get myself to sit in a chair long enough to get anything done.
