About Me
Michael McCormick grew up in Ohio, USA, and based the story told in his book, Across The Pond on his personal experience as a U.S. Marine who served in combat in Vietnam. Upon his return to the United States, he was awarded the Silver Star Medal and the Purple Heart. Since that time he has gone on to earn his B.A. in psychology and his M.A. in clinical psychology. He has worked extensively with Vietnam veterans and now lives in Oakland, California with his wife Gina.
