A joint collect of my wife and I. The main non-fiction components are science, psychology, art, writing, knitting and travel. A large amount of the fiction has been collected at many airports and similar places during careers that invovled a fair amount of travel and a lot of waiting around. Currently my LibraryThing list does not include my professional library.

All the books listed are on our ever overflowing shelves, or lent to others and never returned. We have on many occasions thought of culling the fiction but it is always difficult to get rid of old friends.

I was for many years a stored products research scientist with CSIRO (the Australian Government reasearch body)and although retired I still spend a few hours a week as a honorary research fellow in that field. My other main interests are producing sculpture, writing and family history.
