eclectic, collection is serendipitous, great fun browsing in a local auction house specializing in estate libraries, and the fine arts.

I love European history, especially that of Germany in the 20th Century. I also am very partial to books of well reproduced photographs, especially using the photogravure process, and particularly from roughly the 1890's through the 1940's. The loveliest book of photographs that I have is Le Visage de la France from about 1925 - art director was G.L. Arlaud - must have taken ten years to take all of the photos of each province.
