Greetings avid readers. I have been a mental health worker for nearly 25 years. I began my career as a residential counselor for adolescents suffering from serious emotional disturbance. I currently work with and advocate for adults experiencing chronic mental illness, including those challenged with substance use disorder, and homelessness.

Becoming a published author has been a progressive journey for me. Back in 2015, I started chronicling my knowledge as a mental health worker, alongside the lived experience of my family’s struggles with mental health. Those pages developed and blossomed into a focused autobiography about my journey through poverty, nihilism, and encounters with faith.

Interests: Being helpful, gaming, gardening, watching films (favorites include Akira, Titanic, Forrest Gump, Tae Guk Gi: The brotherhood of War), and thinking through difficult questions on faith and philosophy.

Dislikes: Spicy food, emotional manipulation and religious sensationalism.
