- I own all the books I've listed on here [and then some]. I've read a little less than half of them, leading to a To-Be-Read list that's much longer than it should be and constantly expanding. Used bookstores and libraries are my best friends, but maybe not my groaning bookshelves'.
Included are textbooks of all kinds as well as fun reading, which consists primarily of sci-fi and fantasy, but also includes various shades of fiction and nonfiction. [Even the pop linguistics books are fun!] - About Me
- Linguistics Ph.D.—hence some funny number of linguistics textbooks, outdated linguistics works, and everything about how language works.
In addition, I'm fascinated by fractals, astrophysics, the craft of writing, cooking of all sorts, and music. My turtle, cat, and plants are like my children, I knit and crochet and would like to learn how to spin yarn, and love fencing.
