I was born and raised in Iran—yes, really! Despite my fancy European-sounding name, I am as Iranian as chelo kebab and saffron basmati rice. I studied Political Science and International Relations. And I am a writer, speaker, and advocate for Zoroastrian heritage.

I live in Oregon with my husband, Louis, and our dog, Scruffy, who loves puddles almost as much as I love rainy, foggy days like a true pluviophile.

My MG historical fiction, Truth Seeker: The Story of Zoroaster just won the Literary Titan Gold Book Award.
