My library consists of the titles I have chosen to read for SLIS 757 - The Evaluation of Materials for Young Adults. So far, I have enjoyed reading the books that I have chosen and am excited to finish reading the rest of them as they seem to be extremely interesting. Because I work in a library that serves young adults, I am anticipating discussing some of my readings with them and will enjoy encouraging them to read some of the books I have read.

My name is Sandy Coward, and I reside in Florence, South Carolina where I work as a media specialist at West Florence High School. Because I am working as a media specialist with an out-of-field permit, I am presently enrolled as a student in the School of Library and Information Science. I love literature and am fortunate to work in an environment where I am surrounded by the things I enjoy, books and students.

My husband and I are extremely excited about our six month old daughter, Taylor. Taylor is the apple of our right eye, and our Yorkshire Terrier, Bailey, is the apple of our left eye. Thank heaven for two eyes!
