If I have rated a book with stars then I have read it since joining in 2008. All other catalogued books I own and plan on reading. All books in the "permanant collection" I have already read..even if there are no stars.
Books tagged "SPJR" belong to my son.

5 stars = an amazing read (or an amazing children's book)..could also be purely sentimental
4 stars = an excellent read
3 stars = a good read
2.5 stars = something was off.. either me or the book
..2 stars or less I probably wish I had not read
