I love books. You don't have to plug them in. I love the feel of them, if you are blessed with eyesight, and you are able to read,you can enjoy them. I have tried to find collectible editions of books by authors that I enjoy, but in the end, it's all about the printed word. If I am faced with more limited means of purchasing books,it is my sincere hope that I will get the same enjoyment out of them that I do at present.

57 year old male who has been collecting books since age 40.
Favorite novel is Hemingway's "For Whom The Bell Tolls". This is the one for others to shoot for, but there have been a number of more recent authors who have come very close to this. Another favorite classic book, Steinbeck's "Grapes Of Wrath". No matter how old I get, I am always learning,and appreciate ideas and info from anyone who feels they might have something to offer.
