About My Library: Although mine is a working library, which reflects my professional background & scholarly endeavours, it naturally provides some insight into my personal interests & major preoccupations as well.
About Me: A couple of years ago I left teaching & moved to a cottage in the misty mountains to read, think & write in the congenial company of my cats. Call it a mid-life thing. I am currently back at university doing Honours in history & want to go on to do more post-graduate work in the future. I love books so I've always been an habitue of bookshops. These days my preference really is to buy books second-hand - I purchase new only when I can't avoid it. Usually I get those elusive out-of-print titles from far flung places via the net. I also frequent junk & charity shops, auctions & garage sales. I've bought some great stuff on ebay too.
