We (my wife and I), have many yards of shelving devoted to books. We read extensively in the areas of politics, science and science fiction. As a librarian, I am ashamed to admit that the collection is simply shelved in a primitive mass by subject. Our collection of French movies, (800), however is well indexed in a Mac database.

Retired science librarian. MLS Univ. of Pittsburgh. Worked in the U.S. and in France as a programmer and library consultant. Overseas, I did mostly database systems, but did set up a computerized library for a scientific organization in France.
