About meI love Military History among other subjects (Photography, Automotive, Railroading (Model and life sized!), Motorcycles, Racing, Nature. I have been collecting books for many years, but more intensely recently because I fear that books may be a thing of the past someday. I was in a writer's bookstore recently and they had a poster that said, "Books have to worry about technology as much as stairs need to worry about escalators!" I hope they are right!
There is nothing like a book in your hand. And it's analog AND solar powered! - Lance

About my libraryI am a scale model collector. Mostly aviation and armor with some naval, automotive, racing subjects. These books are more for reference when I begin building my kits. The web is nice, but books have better data and images to support subject research. But, there is nothing like looking at your private library and pulling a book from it and read some new and interesting information. I have probably 1,000+ books to enter. I better get back to it! - Lance
