- The majority of the titles in our library were inherited from my wife's mom when we got married, but we always have our eyes on new things to add to the bunch. I first started keeping track of what we had in our collection the summer we got married, when I was a history student in college and there were a little over 700 books to keep under control.

- My name is Eric, and I need a room with wall-to-wall bookshelves very badly. I wish I had time to read all the books I had, but I don't. My wife has read a lot more of them, and she reads faster too.
