About My Library: WSS houses a rich collection of art books and publications that have come to WSS through our community of artists, teachers, museums, lecturers and neighbors. The collection is a invaluable resource to teaching staff, book groups, and the visiting public. The library is free and open to the public.
About Me: Washington Studio School (WSS) is a non-profit teaching institution located in the Dupont Circle neighborhood of the District of Columbia. WSS, founded in 1985, offers adults and high-school teens a rich program of workshops, classes, lectures and critiques to pursue their studies in drawing, painting and sculpture. 20 working artists are housed in our facility along with a exhibition gallery, and a well-resourced library.
