A nonsensical poem about a naughty boy who packs up and leaves home. This would be a great resource when learning about poetry and showing students that poetry can look a number of ways. ( )

I'm not sure why this one got published. The poem is a bit of doggerel from a letter Keats wrote to his sister and was never meant for publication, and Raschka's watercolor illustrations bounce between boring and muddy. ( )

A Song about Myself by Chris Raschka is basically a poem written by English poet John Keats.

The author weaves John Keat's nursery rhyme style poem with colorful pictures that bring it to life.

I loved the author's note at the end which explains a little bit about John Keats and that this poem was actually included in a letter he wrote to his sister. It's very sweet.
