A worthy sequel to The Eight! From the first page, the next generation of "The Game" is a rollercoaster ride of intrigue and gamemanship. Like a chess match, the story has a multidimensional complexity as it switches from present day to historical sequences, always moving "The Game" forward. Memorable charactes from both the White and the Black teams solve puzzles and race around the world to get to the hidden pieces of the famous chess set that not only once belonged to Charlamagne, but also holds great power for those who posses it! However, the teams are not always what they appear to be. Who is the White Queen and will she be triumphant? You don't really know until the last pages! Is this truly the end of "The Game".
