I thought it was cheesy and I didn't feel bad for Tin Win. I felt bad that he went blind and his mother left him, but abandoning your family without a trace? Nope, no sympathy here.
Hyperbole and a Half: Unfortunate Situations, Flawed Coping Mechanisms, Mayhem, and Other Things That Happened by Allie Brosh
I didn't care much for it, I did like the stories about her childhood and post about depression but other than that it was pretty bland for me.
I know I'm a bit too old for this, but I remember these stories as a child. I liked the stories in the beginning but then they just got too silly for me. I mean, poor baby Roo that was kidnapped. Pooh bear I do enjoy, but sometimes his dumbness really annoys me. Now Eeyore is my favorite, as my dad always said "they should just give the poor thing a tail to keep and a nice house"
This book does not seem like it's for kids
Honestly, it was really good in the beginning and middle, but then it felt like everything came to a rush. I don't really enjoy descriptive books, aside from the descriptions it was pretty bland. I didn't really care for Marco and Celia, they both seemed boring, I'd say the twins and Bailey are my only favorite characters.
I was also hoping to have more of a duel, but there was hardly anything except creating rooms. I was looking forward to the love story as well but it felt really rushed and and unsatisfying for me.
The books not for everyone, you'll probably enjoy it if you like slow and really descriptive books. As much as I was hoping it would be for me, it's not the book for me.

I definitely liked it, it reminded me of Lemony Snicket in a way.
Usually I don't like graphic novels, but this was great.
it was pretty funny, though I didn't care much when Bee started being the narrator and I didn't think Antarctica was all that interesting.
This is the longest book I've read, and I know it's a small goal but it doesn't make me fear big books anymore!
Anyway, the first three Harry Potter books didn't really grip me as much as this one, but this one was so good to where I want to immediately jump into the fifth one.
Also, I've only seen 5 of the 8 movies, and the GoF was my least favorite movie, but my favorite book so far.

Usually I like these cheesy stories but this one just didn't interest me too much. I like the classic books better.
