I love this book and this series. At first, it was a little hard to get into, but it gets better later on. It definitely mirrors the Bible, which I like to some extent, and I think it is different enough that it is still good. I feel bad for those who did not enjoy it and hope they will persevere and be able to enjoy it. It is about a boy named Owen who lives at a bookstore with his father. It all starts when a mysterious man gives him a very important book.
I really like this book, and it is a must read for Lemony Snicket readers like myself. There isn't much more I can say lest I give away the Secret of clues. The only thing I didn't like is the occasional rude-humor throughout the series.
I absolutely love this book! It is so good I have read it few times now. It is about young Sara Crewe, who is sent to a boarding school in England. Her father goes away back to India, where she was born. She is given anything she wishes for and becomes the princess of the school, a truly charming character. But when she is left without a penny, her whole life changes.
This book is a very good book, and a must-read classic. It is about a very young girl who is taken to her uncle in the mountains.
