I just couldn't get through it. It reads more like a synopsis than a novel and there is almost no dialog at all. The sentences were difficult to comprehend and about halfway through the book I simply stopped caring about Ruthven, or any of the characters.

I read this book when I was deployed to Iraq, one of the first novels I ever read. This book had me jumping out of my seat with every chapter. This thing was a true page turner. The ending had me in shock. I really wish they had adapted this into a movie, but now I feel it would be a little too late. This book solidified Dan Brown as one of my favorite authors.

It was a short but I enjoyed this a lot. I just wish it was longer. I hope the author makes a continuation of this story. Would love to see where Violet and Beau end up some years down the road.
