The story begins with Greg being really shocked and sad/angry to find that Abigail and Rowley are a couple. Greg always thought that he would be the one to have a girlfriend first and that Rowley would be the poor/lonely type of guy. Then Rowley starts to think that he is better than Greg, Rowley stops hanging out with Greg and Rowley starts to always procrastinate to him. Not to mention that Rowley used to scout for dog poop on the way to school and carry Greg’s backpack. Because of this Greg looks for a replacement which happens to be Fregley, who is a bit touched.
Sadly Fregley was a terrible replacement for Rowley, Greg stepped in some dog poop with his brand new shoes, and Fregley threw Greg’s books at a couple of wild kids who were after them, hoping that the chasers would stop to read the books. So Greg dumped Fregley and joined the yearbook club after school to avoid getting chased by a couple of the wild neanderthals.
On one trip to his Grandmother’s house for Easter, someone noticed that his great-grandmother’s wedding ring (which cost a fortune) was nowhere to be found. Then everyone found that Greg’s great-grandmother’s ring was probably hidden in an Easter egg last year. Everyone went on a wild hunt for it but no one found it.
Sadly, Abigail dumped Rowley because she wanted to make her ex jealous. So Abigail became a couple with her ex again and Rowley and Greg became best friends once more. Then on a visit to Greg’s grandmother’s house show more (again) he finds the egg and finds it in his house become he fears if anyone knew that he had found it, it’d tear the family apart. show less

This book talks about Hitler's childhood, and his life as a man. Everyone always claimed that Hitler was not a negotiator. He would not calmly ask for something, but instead he'd demand it. During debates he would scream, not soothe. Hitler was very close to his mother, then one day his older brother moved away and the father just went to town on Hitler, not making Hitler like his father. His father constantly moved the family, one day Hitler tried to run away but he got caught. Hitler never graduated from what was supposed to be German high school so when he wanted to become an artist he never go his chance.
Hitler had friends but he would always move or push them away. Hitler studied hard for the school art exams but he failed two or three times. Hitler loved watching opera with his friend. Then his friend moved back home successful while Hitler stayed in the same place and got broke. He eventually enlisted in the army for money and because he was proud to fight for Germany. Hitler's job was to go on the other side of the battlefield and try to gain knowledge on the enemy battle plans and he was proud to do so. Eventually he got injured and had to stay in the hospital even though he wanted to stay on the battlefield. Hitler felt like Germany was weak to surrender at the end of world war one. Therefore he hated the Americans for fighting the Germans and winning. Eventually Hitler was elected to handle the government and armies of Germany. He then killed anyone he show more thought would be a threat to the SA and the Nazi party even though they were his best men. From then on he blamed the Jews for being rich and not having to fight in the war even though there were plenty of half German-Jews fighting for Germany. From then on he attacked and lied until he eventually committed suicide which pretty much summed up World War 2. show less

Greg then hears from Rowley that there is an upcoming dance and they both want to be each other’s wingman. Eventually they find a girl but promised to go as friends, although Greg thought he’d get to her and be more than friends. On the day of the dance Greg thinks that Rowley has the chicken pox on the night of the dance, but it just turns out to be a few pimples. So Greg hides Rowley’s pimples and go out to dinner. When they are done they go to the dance where a couple of seniors barge in and steal all the food and drinks. His army lost its motivation, they've been away for so long that they wanted to go home and not fight any more. He lost a lot of his friends and he just turned cruel and mad. One night he ended up drinking too much and got sick. He got better, ate meat, and got worse. He kept going back and forth until he eventually died.
