Interesting novel by Kingsolver. I picked this book up for practically nothing after reading the POISONWOOD BIBLE, (which was one of the best novels I've ever read). Taylor and Turtle are intersting characters and following them on their little adventures is a page turner.

People really raved about this novel, but I didn't like it that much. I thought that it started off well, the first half was good. Then, the second half didn't seem to even be part of the same novel, it really fell flat for me.
I wouldn't read this again and I wouldn't really recommend it to other people.

Interesting read.
