This is a great book showing the hardships a young boy had to go through to survive the German Nazi concentration camps. Allthough the book is quite graphic the story line is amazing. This is a touching and emotional book that will stay with you all through your life.

This is a REALLY hard book to get into. The first nine chapters are REALLY boring. Once chapter ten comes along the book starts to get interesting.

All around this is is great book. I have to give props to Khaled Hosseini! It tooks some time to actually get into the book (like most) but once you do its hard to put it down! it does a great job of depicting the modern struggles in pakistan and afaghanistan. Its a great story of redemption and betrayal!
