These short stories are perfectly written. They sucked me into their world immediately, intrigued me as I read, and resolved themselves with satisfying and imaginative endings. At times the author offers points one can think about and relate to one's own life.
Good children's story makes a good read for anyone
Mindy and Pablo were charming characters driving the story. They faced real challenges bravely in a fast and enthralling adventure. I enjoyed the depth of characters and the plot. The writing was good.
Each story is a delight
This book of science fiction short stories delighted me with the characters, the details, the interesting and varied plots, and the endings. I liked the endings because they stopped short of telling me everything that happened, so I was left with my mind filling in possibilities but not feeling frustrated by the lack of resolution.
The author has cleverly made a good and entertaining story out of interesting history. The characters are well drawn. The comprehensive research has informed the setting and props admirably. The writing is good.
This novella was good enough for a quick read. It was too superficial to matter much. The characters were interesting.

5 star story with 3 star editing
This lively story made time to develop the characters with touching depth. The plot was fast-paced and fun. The Indian historical setting was very interesting. The English language was idiosyncratic and lent charm to the book.
This was nice to read because the characters are quite well developed. The low intensity of the characters makes this forgettable after the end.
This carefully constructed mystery was a delight to read. It was well written. The pace of the story as the mystery unfolded was good. The characters seemed real.
The 9-year old point of view made this a compelling read. Her logic without all the facts was more believable than the strange reality. This story was neatly conceptualized and executed.
This was sensitively and thoughtfully written, allowing me to read to the end despite the horror of the lives and deaths.
This was well written. I couldn't stop reading as I needed to keep watching the main characters. The mystery was less compelling than the characters, but was satisfying enough. The setting was delightful.

This well written mystery was pitched at the right level of detail and character sketching for my taste. The setting, premise and plot interested me.
This is long but kept me transfixed to the end. I'm surprised that I didn't get tired of two things that usually exasperate me and drop my rating of a story. Firstly, there is unnecessary detail of meals and motion. Secondly this is a story told, not shown. Probably the characters and legal plot were the saving graces for me. I thoroughly enjoyed the realistic behind-the-scenes events, as well as the spotlight events. I rate it just under 5 stars because there were a few typos preventing a full 5, but not impeding my enjoyment of this.
Enjoyable vampire adventure and tortured intense romance.
Murder meets metal in a quick and satisfying story.
Mistakes abound and the story is boring because the characters are not developed.
The author's writing style was light hearted and made the characters lightly deep.
