Collection of Nazi memorabilia/propaganda. Original copy of Mein Kampf by Adolf Hitler and a Nazi armband from the Third Reich time period. Armband is black and red with a swastika, bird, and German writing. Book has separated from its sleeve and has yellowed with age. The writing is in German and is highly legible (dark ink remains intact).
Collection of documents and information regarding Jenny Adair, a Holocaust survivor (1910-1981). Included are [top to bottom of the collection] poetry in remembrance, obituary/personal information document, memorial cards, Jenny's death certificate, newspaper clippings, postcards and correspondence, poetry, two rare books, and a photograph album.
Collection of documents regarding the history and accomplishments of A. Hirschhorn, particularly in the 1940s. Multiple photographs of Hirschhorn and family/friends are included in addition to packages, a rare book, money, letters, speeches, etc.
Donated by Maryellen Carson to CVHEN Library. Naturalization Document (citizenship) belonged to Jenny Adair, a formerly-German Holocaust survivor who resided in San Francisco, CA, USA at the time of her naturalization. Adair is described as fair, with hazel eyes and black hair. She stood at 4'5'', was married, and was born on January 8, 1910, making her 50 years old when she became a naturalized citizen of the United States. Her signature is included as is her photograph in accordance with U.S. legal documents. Donated along with a copy of the rare book "Jenny by Nature" by Erskine Caldwell.
