Very informative book on a subject I knew little about.
The book was very informative. As much as I like to read about true crime, somehow I had not heard of Paul Bernardo and Karla until fairly recently. This book gave the full ins and outs of the lives of the victims and the perpetrators before, during and after the events.
I had to remove a star from the review however for the editing, or lack of in this case. The book is full of spelling and punctuation errors, most of the time removing from the fluency of the story.

Good read, storyline not what I expected
I like a good Irvine Welsh book, the Trainspotting series being the obvious favourite.
I don't want to give anything away but what I will say is for me the book was easy to read, (done and dusted in 2 days over a few hours) and enjoyable. A bit far fetched in some parts even considering the main character's history but still enjoyable.

Excellent book with some really funny memories
The book was written in a frank manner with nothing held back, unlike some others I have read in the past where they have lied to make themselves look better.
Some of the tales from Merse's career were very amusing indeed. Well worth a read and I really appreciate his honesty.

A mother's tale of sadness
The book tells us of Cathy's daughters and the tragedies that strike both of them.
I'm not usually a one to cry over things like this but I can understand why other readers have. The book goes into detail about the eldest daughter's murder, and the subsequent effect it has on her family's lives.

Great inside story!
As much as I love music, and new day punk (well Green Day), the only thing I had ever read about the Sex Pistols was the Sid and Nancy story. I am ashamed to say I knew nothing, not even the names, Steve Jones and Cookie. Yep the founding members.
I have read many, many books and this was a fantastic read. A very honest insight by an (now!) honest person.
It is split into 3 sections - Before, During and After, and each section is as good as the rest. I learnt a hell of a lot from this, and has sent me looking for further reading based on Jonesey's book.
I love how he doesn't hint about famous people's names who were involved which is very annoying, but actually tells you who he is talking about. Well except 1 but I can let that go.
If you read any autobiography this year, make it this one - you will not regret it.
