This telescope has been modified according to the International Library Telescope Program recommendations to make the telescope more rugged for public use. The telescope represents the standard Library Program Telescope and includes a Celestron 8-24mm Zoom EyePiece. The telescope was acquired at the request of the DAS Library Chair and is available to be borrowed by any DAS member for the purposes of community astronomy outreach and the promotion of the Library Telescope Program in the State of Delaware.
The borrowing term should not exceed one week without prior approval of the Library Chair.
