Very confusing. Could not follow from one chapter to the other. After 4 chapters, I gave up.

Ms Lacy takes you on a trip back in time that allows you to smell the open fires and dirty soldiers, taste ale, taste the good and bad wine, and interact with customs of the time. This book of fiction does not follow history facts. Some complain the accuracy of the story. It is accurate according to Ms Lacy's imagination recorded in the book. Each chapter makes your brain predict an outcome but not necessarily the outcome you expected at the end of the chapter. An easy read without the bad language. I could not put it down until finished.

For the auto engine perfectionist. This book dives into hundredths of an inch to make you a vehicle run at its peak racing ability.
As an amateur, I found much of the book over my head. It details why and how to make your vehicle engine race car quailty.

Behind scenes look at life in Korea as told by Andrei Lankov. His first hand accounting of everyday life. I could not stop until I finished the book.

The author has taken time to transport readers to an unknown world. Each detail paints a picture that places you in a “real time” scenario.
I wasn't to keen thinking of reading something vampire related but always up for new adventures. As the stage is set, I fast became aware of sounds, sights, odors, temperature and lighting of the buildings, rooms, personalities, awareness and feelings of the characters. The author's thought process takes writing to a next level of high quality with limited characters.
I started reading this one evening. I finish it the next day on a two hour road trip that seemed like 5 minutes.
By My Choice: A Bloodhaven Novella is a followup to A Variety of Chains by the same author. Although a followup, readers do not have to read one to understand the other but why not?
This was a free for review book.

This simply written story was somewhat confusing at the beginning. I have not read the author before which may have caused the confusion. After I figured the storyline it was a one evening read. The writer transported me years into the future to a facility orbiting earth. The orbiting ship is a laboratory making unintelligent clones to work for creatures of a planet circling a far away sun. One clone, Angel 6.0, is the ultimate experimental clone with human personality and features. Angel is a strong, feisty, smart, attractive clone with a sex drive. Travis Luedke had me forgetting I was on earth. Wish the story continued in this book but I will devour the other books about Angel 6.0.

I started reading this book and thought I had skipped a page or sentence. The book does not follow English writing standards. My thoughts were the first page, paragraph, or chapter were had somehow mixed by me.
After finishing this read, the book is difficult to read which makes the content not believable. All the information in each chapter is repeated in every chapter. My impression is that a student was required to write a document with x number of words or pages and kept repeating the information over and over and over to achieve their goal.
The overall message is good but finding it is painful. My suggestion would be to struggle through the first and last chapter which contains the message the author strives.
I received this free copy from LibraryThing's Member Giveaways in exchange for an honest review.
The Juicing Recipes Book gives a thorough discussion of each type of juice and benefits such as being good as an Antioxidant, for Cleansing or Diabetic are some examples. Includes Kid Friendly Recipes.
This is a go to book for Juicing. Good for first time juicier experience.
There is explanation of the three major types of juicier: Centrifugal, Masticating, and Triturating Juicier, when and how to use each.
Each Recipe chapter begins with a list of the recipes in that chapter as well as the type of juicier that should use to make that recipe.
I have not read any other Juicing Books but feel no need after reading this book. Why the Mendocino Press did not include nutritional information for each recipe after spending all the time authoring them is a big question?

I received an electronic book. I started to put it on my Kindle and glad I didn't. My Kindle does not show photos. This book is full of exciting, thoughtful and linked to the c a t rhyming facts. Children will love the stories about the cats in human costume clothing. A fast read (about 20 minutes). Wish the cat's breed had been added.
First. it is refreshing to read a book that has limited four letter words that seems to be a must for writers in recent years. The author starts the book with me being hooked the first paragraph of the Prologue. The story is of an assassin, Diane Butchmer, that has attempts to kill her by assassins while she caries out kills. The author takes us on a journey with many unexpected conclusions. I did get somewhat confused going from one chapter to another due to listen to the talk selection of my Kindle while I drove to the beach. It was a fast five hours that had me wanting to return driving when I stopped to refuel. The story is action packed from the Prologue to the Epilogue. Although romance is in the book, it has limited quantity and detail. I look forward to reading other books by the author.
# Thanks to the author, I won this book in a lottery in return for a review.
