This was an enjoyable collection of short stories, with varying levels of depth and humour (Canadian Spelling). "Once a Goddess" started off slowly, but became engaging about half way through. The other stories were very engaging, though oftentimes the story seemed to have gotten really good and was just over, such as in "Nine Sketches, in Charcoal and Blood". My favourite was "Love, Cayce", but that probably stems from my enjoyment of D&D combined with literature. Overall, very happy with this read.
